Still Looking for Housing? If you plan to live off campus, begin your search now. The Off-Campus Housing Program has search resources to help you find the right place to live. On their website you'll find a comprehensive list of apartment complexes, and our new Off-Campus Housing Marketplace where you connect with property managers and more.
Educated Renters Certificate Program The program also hosts the Educated Renters Certificate Program. In the asynchronous Canvas course, you will learn about the local rental market, your rights and responsibilities as a tenant, and more. After completing and passing the short quiz at the end, you will earn a certificate of completion to present alongside your application to local landlords and property managers to help you be a more competitive applicant.
Show your room off — get a gift card! Are you proud of your cozy corner, stylish setup, or radical room? We want to showcase your room on the Cal Poly Housing Instagram so that incoming students can see all the fun ways residents make this place home. 📸 It's your chance to inspire others and showcase your creativity. Fill out this form for a chance to be selected — if your room is chosen each roommate will receive a $25 gift card.
Events: IHC, RAs and Faculty-in-Residence are planning fun events all the time. Make sure to check them out on Cal Poly Now.
Need something fixed in your space? Submit a maintenance request in your Housing Portal to get it taken care of. Your RA will be able to show you the ropes. If you need to clean your space, no maintenance request is required — just head down to the front desk and ask for cleaning supplies.
Want to change rooms? Swapped rooms within your apartment? Okay by your roommates, okay by us — we just need to know so you're not responsible for charges or denied a key if you get locked out. Submit a room change request in your Housing Portal and select the option to swap rooms with a roommate. Your roommate must reply to the request with their agreement.
